About Us
LEAF is a supportive, inclusive, and committed community of family educators. We unite around common principles to accomplish things we cannot do as individual families. Every member of the community contributes toward our shared goals.
Together we are preparing for and pursuing personal missions
LEAF is a place to mentor and be mentored. We believe every individual has a unique way to contribute to the world and we help families learn how to apply this principle. As they progress through the phases of learning, they begin to prepare for, discover, and pursue their own personal mission in life. Working on all this as a community is inspiring and comforting. We teach learners to take note of their own interests, give priority to these and pursue them passionately. We encourage learners to come to know themselves more deeply and look for opportunities God gives them to use their interests and talents to serve others. It is through this process of self discovery and service that they discover their personal mission in life. As we each pursue and fulfill our personal missions, we make the world a better place.
